Intelli-Check Investigation Standards
We are assigned to condcut the investigative activities and must collectively possess professional proficiency for the tasks required. This standard places upon Intelli-Check and the investigators the responsibility for insuring that investigations are conducted by personnel who collectively have the knowledge and skills required to perform the investigative activities.
Each investigator must possess and maintain the highest standards of conduct and loyalty in both official and personal matters. The investigators must have the abilty to communicate effectively with the general public both in oral and written form.
Each investigator must demonstrate the ability to exercise tact, intiative, ingenuity, resourcefulness and judgement in collecting assembling and devloping facts, evidence and other pertinent data to make oral and written reports of investigations and to analyze and evaluate evidence.
Due to the critical and sensitive nature of an investigators position, we insure that all investigators possess the required knowledge, skills and abilities to fufill their responsibilities. These include a knowledge of theories, principals, practices and techniques of investigation and the ability and experience to apply such knowledge to the type of investigation being done. They must possess knowledge of applicable laws, rules, and regulations, to include NYS criminal laws, rules of evidence handling and other pertinent statutes such as privacy and Freedom of Information Act, FRCA, etc.
